Stephanie Skating
Stephanie began her figure skating journey 5 years ago, after graduating from college with a Bachelor of Music. She is coached by Scott Carson, a Novice National Mens Champion and Junior and Senior Mens National Competitor. Stephanie immediately began competing recreationally with ISI (Ice Skating Institute), placing first in Freestyle 4 at the 2006 ISI World Recreational Championships. She is an active member of the Pasadena Figure Skating Club and is currently competing through USFS (United States Figure Skating). Stephanie has passed her Juvenile Moves in the Field, her PreJuvenile Freeskate, and her Silver Ladies Freeskate tests. She placed second at both the 2008 Southern California Interclub Competition and the 2008 Los Angeles Figure Skating Club Competition. Stephanie is looking forward to competing in the 2009 Pacific Coast Adult Sectionals Competition in Las Vegas, NV in February.

- No jeans, no big jackets and no big mittens/gloves. I need to be able to see bodies and fingers for proper posture and positions.
-
Please make sure that hair is pulled back and out of face. Please pin back long bangs. If you can't see, you can't skate.
-
Please no big jewelry that can get in the way of skating or may be harmful to others.
- I strongly recommend wearing tights under skates (no socks). The skater needs to feel what's going on under his/her feet.
